CYCLE TO TRUCK
With the cycle to WOOD festival being so popular, and so much fun, (we've decided that we'll also lead a cycle to TRUCK. With it being half the distance (around 10miles) it should be a great way to start off your TRUCK festival.
As a thank you we are happy to give you a Friday Ticket for free – and buy you a nice refreshing pint, soft or indeed ladies drink upon arrival. You'll also receive an exclusive to Robin's Birthday Bonanza. You can just turn up at the Oxford Cycle Workshop @4pm on friday - but it would be nice if you could register by emailing us
Oxford to TRUCK
Leaves from Oxford Cycle Workshop, Magdalen Road Oxford at 4 pm, Friday, July 23, 2010. Arrives about 2 hours later with plenty of daylight left for you to put up your tent!
We'll be returning at 11am on Monday morning.
What's stopping you?
#1 I can't carry my tent and all my stuff on my bike.
Don't worry. Just meet up at the Oxford Cycle Workshop at 4 pm on Friday, July 23 and a van will be there to pick up your heavy items and take them to the festival for you!
#2 It's too far: From Oxford to Truck is 12 miles, so it's a managable distance.
#3 That's still too far. Really? Your just making excuses.
#4 I don't like to cycle on busy roads.
Dan from the Oxford Cycle Workshop has plotted out a really nice scenic trip from Oxford to Truck that avoids major roads. A team from Oxford Cycle Workshop will ride with the group to Truck.
#5 I don't want a free pint when I arrive.
We can't help you there, when you can choose from a nice pint of Cotswold Lager or Cider or Real Ale from Butts Brewery, all from local brewers, I don't know how you could possibly say no!
