TRUCK ON!
20th July 2007
Due to the severe flooding of the village of Steventon, Oxfordshire, unfortunately the Truck Festival has had to be postponed.
However, the show must go on. Amazingly, given the short notice, through hell and high water, an alternative Truck event will go ahead at Brookes University, Headington, Oxford. This will serve as a benefit / fundraiser in order for the re-scheduled event in September to be as legendary as this weekend would have been, and to enable us to contribute to the causes that the Truck Festival supports. Also because some of the brilliant acts have made arrangements and have already travelled (from NYC in Garth & Maud Hudson’s case, and from LA in Brian Jonestown Massacre’s case), it’d be a tragedy for them to return home without playing some music…
