When do the tickets usually go on sale? I saw in a truck myspace bulletin it was March sometime? |
|
|
I remember last year we had to register first so we could order tickets on line and also to receive an e mail notifying when the tickets would be on sale.
Anyone heard whether we have to register this year, and how/where/when by? |

March's Nightshift says they go on sale localy on Monday 31st March.
It also says that the line up will be announced before the tickets go on sale. This is a shame in my opinion as I'd rather the ticket uptake wasn't influenced by the line up. There are enough Truckers that will go whoever is playing.
Also, there is some kind of Truck launch party in London on 4th March, so no doubt more information will become available then.

I thought there would be info up now after the launch party! Did anyone go?? |
|
|
I didn't go no, so have no further info from that.
There is a 'SuperTrucker' ticket on sale for a joint Wood & Truck festivals tickets at £100, according to the main website and DIS.
It states here that the tickets for Truck will not be on sale until April, which obviously contrdicts Nightshift.
You'd imagine thatTruck would know when the tickets go on sale though, so April it is!

Looking at the price of a supertrucker ticket (£100) and a Wood ticket (£45) and the statement that a represents a cash saving over b+c, am I the only one that's worried that means truck is going to be at least £60 this year?
Eek. |

Yeah, I can remember the days when Truck was only 20 quid..! still way cheaper than most though :-) |

The Truck site lists when and where tickets are going to be on sale (April 2nd from various Oxfordshire based venues). Is this the only way to get tickets this year, and do you have to go in person to buy them or can you buy by phone and then collect them?
Is there going to be an online ticket sale at a later date via We Got Tickets. In view of the large number of outlets does anyone know how many tickets will be available on line this year? |

It states the following on the website:
There is also an allocation of 2000 tickets kept just for those registered for our mailing list- to register, simply click the 'register' button at the top right of this website.
Therefore, in answer to your question, 2000 tickets will go on sale online at a later date to people registered on the site.
In previous years you have had to buy the 'local' tickets in person, with cash, so I'd imagine it'll be the same this year.
