Hi Jude, wow, a post on the Truck message board!
I'm hopeful that British Sea Power will put in an appearance for the first time since 2001 (I think, it was a long ime ago).
I saw them earlier this week and they were awesome. The new album is tops!
Other hopes would have to include Ed Larrikin (performing whatever he's been up to since the Love split), Frank Turner, Shady Bard & Dartz!

Indeedy, they always put something good on. I was glad last year there weren't any hoog acts as I finally got to see all the regular bands like Trademark etc...missed Foals tho, grr.Too loud in my head need resistance need a parcel of forgiveness

I heard one of the people that put on the "good" bands had left last year though...
Hopefully his idea of good doesn't necessarily spread to everything i find good. |

Always all sorts of rumours surrounding Truck and the people involved in organising it, but fortunately they have stayed true to their roots all this time and the line ups have always had a big enough proportion of what I consider 'good'.
What do you consider 'good' then Radio?

I'm hoping for Flaming Lips. I'd die if they played.
It's possible too, cos they rumoured last year and I think I remember Steven from F'lips saying something last year about them being interested.
And the band will also be in the country for Camp Bestival on the 18th of July (I think) and Lovebox London on the 20th July.
Leaving the 19th free |

Oh yeah they were. Think the Supergrass were too?

If I remember correctly (it was quite a while ago!) the Supergrass rumour started for the rearranged Truck as they were playing the new Oxford Academy that same weekend.
Then of course their bassist fell out of a window while sleep walking and broke his back, so they had to cancel all shows anyway.
Flaming Lips were rumoured for last year, but I still think it unlikely, although it would be brilliant if they did.
For an unrealistic 'I want' I'd chuck in Dirty Pretty Things.
